Colorado Workplace Accommodations for Nursing Mothers Colorado is the 16th state in the nation to pass legislation regarding breastfeeding support in the workplace. Effective August 7, 2008, employers are required to provide reasonable break time, make reasonable efforts to provide suitable, private space for mothers to express breastmilk in the workplace, and not discriminate against them for doing so. more info…
